![]() ![]() These phonemes aren't used because they aren't nearly as accurate or as good as the facial mocap. At the same time you *can* capture the audio for the auto phonome generation. The way Faceshift OR Faceware for iClone (they don't call the iPhone X plugin Faceshift but I find it's easier to say to differentiate it from Faceware) both work for lipsync is they capture the muscles of the face and those movements of the lips sync up with the audio. I'm a little confused by what you are asking. All my characters are created from Daz and imported into iclone strictly for animation and exported out to Maya or blender as iClone's renderer is really bad. You then can connect them re-target the blendshapes to your character in Maya. Face Cap is a iphone x app that is $10 and you can capture your facial animation and then send it to yourself as an attachment. Currently i am trying to see if I should purchase this or continue to use Face Cap. All these things point to a large price.KelleyToons, I apologize if this information is somewhere in the thread but can you show a recording in which you have facial motion capture and also connected the audio for lip syncing? I am on the fence about purchasing this and I have been reading you posts which helps since as you stated Reallusion did not provide the ability to truly test the plugin. It sounds like this is a low production run, specially designed, no hold backs camera, possibly with other special software included. And if the Faceware article linked above has any truth to the comparison photo, it demolishes everything else in low light.īy far my largest concern right now is price. ![]() Second and probably main advantage is that they can crank up the sensitivity (iso) and have tons of noise since the purpose isn't a super nice looking image, it only needs to be good enough for tracking. So no, faceware didn't discover anything but Sony may have. I mention this because it appears Sony has been releasing new sensors for this market that very well could be used for the faceware camera. ![]() ![]() First off dashcams seem to be becoming more popular and I've seen several advertising 1080p 60fps at very low light. I think there are several potential places that they could have changed or improved. ![]()
